SEASON PREVIEW

OFFENSE

Sophomore Trip Blalock tossed fivesome touchdown passes in his chief game replacing graduated first-team VISAA all-state quarterback Drake Morris, who threw for over 4,000 yards and 57 touchdowns over representation past two seasons. Running possibility Christian Ray, a second-team all-state pick, and Tim Ensunge celeb a speedy backfield. Receiver Clergywoman Heard-Samuels and tight end Metropolis Scott are a big, dash passing targets. Linemen Xavier Brownness and Eli Pile earned all-state recognition last fall.   

DEFENSE

Defensive take in Scott and defensive back Complaint were VISAA first-team all-state picks a year ago and resurface to anchor the defense. Heard-Samuels (6-1, 205) brings outstanding prove right and speed to the dependent, and Brown and freshman Stonemason Weaver provide bulk up momentum. The Eagles will try be adjacent to shore up a defense think about it allowed over 40 points extract three of their last quint games last season after fastidious 5-0 start.  

OUTLOOK

Health is a important concern for the Eagles, beginning with their coach. Dave DeArmas underwent triple-bypass heart surgery as the summer but is go again on the sideline. They'll miss graduated all-state kicker/punter/receiver William Johnson, but Heard-Samuels, Actor and Ray should keep them strong on special teams.
